Betsey Vonderheide established the Vonderheide Family Community Appreciation Fund in 2020.
This Flexible Community Fund was created as a big THANK YOU to the City and County for the many blessings Betsey’s family has been given over the years. This is a “homegrown” family, and each member has benefited from local programs for youth, the arts, the business community, and other opportunities over the years. This fund is designated as flexible because the proceeds can benefit the varying needs of the community.
Each year, grant dollars from this fund will be directed where and when they are needed most during the Foundation’s competitive grants cycle for many generations to come.
