Dr. John W. Petscher Memorial Endowment

Family and friends of Dr. John Petscher established this memorial endowment in 2013.

He was an active member of Christ Episcopal Church in Madison and was involved in many local organizations including the Animal Shelter, Salvation Army, and the Madison Area Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Petscher graduated from Purdue University in 1977 and founded the Madison Animal Clinic in 1980, where he was owner and practitioner at the time of his death.

Since this is a donor-advised fund, grants may also be used to support causes that were important to Dr. Petscher, including the Dr. John W. Petscher Memorial Parcourse Fitness Trail at Johnson Lake, which is a trail equipped with obstacles or stations distributed along its length for exercising the human body to promote good health.
