Jefferson County Enrichment Endowment

Our largest Flexible Community Fund, the Jefferson County Enrichment Endowment, was established in 2001.

Over the years, this endowment has granted out over $1.5 million to nonprofit organizations serving Jefferson County. Past grants have included: large brass instruments for the Madison Consolidated High School Band, a refrigerated box truck for the Jefferson County House of Hope, supporting the playground revitalization at Hargan-Matthews Park, a new show arena at the Jefferson County 4-H Fairgrounds, and supporting the construction of the KDH Cancer Center on Madison’s hilltop, among many more.

Annual grant dollars from this endowment are used during the competitive grants process and as needs arise in our communities.
