M.W. Anderson Scholarship

Myrwin “Red” Anderson served as an educator in Madison for many years, and also served as the principal of Madison Consolidated High School (MCHS). He retired as principal of Michigan Road Elementary in 1988. That school now proudly bears his name – M.W. Anderson Elementary. On May 9, 1997, the Anderson Elementary PTO at the time established the M.W. Anderson Scholarship to honor Red’s service as an educator.

This scholarship is awarded to a MCHS graduating senior who attended Anderson Elementary for at least 3 years (6 semesters) and demonstrates academic achievement, leadership, citizenship, financial need, and involvement in extracurricular activities.

For information on how to apply, visit our Scholarship page HERE. For 2024, applicants must have attended Anderson Elementary for at least 1 year (2 semesters).
