Gerald Amos Memorial Endowment Fund

In 1996, Betty Lynn decided to use a portion of her Powerball lottery winnings to establish the Gerald Amos Memorial Endowment Fund.

Gerald, also known as “Bunny,” was her long-time companion who passed away in 1987. Though Betty passed away in 2003, her generosity in Gerald’s memory has helped Jefferson County special needs children thrive since the fund’s creation.

Grants from this Field of Interest Fund are used during the Foundation’s Competitive Grants Cycle for programs and projects that benefit intellectually challenged children in Jefferson County.
