Grants Programs Suspended & Help Your Neighbor Initiated
Because of the current economic climate, the Board of Directors of the Community Foundation of Madison and Jefferson County has started a special “Help Your Neighbor” campaign instead of conducting its traditional competitive Spring and Fall Grants programs. The Foundation’s Help Your Neighbor initiative will make grants to 501 (c)(3) charities that assist Jefferson County residents struggling to meet day-to-day expenses. Up to $30,000 is available. Awards of up to $2,000 each will be made.
